A simple and highly affordable miniature motorized fan car kit that includes everything you need (aside from soldering equipment) to build a small but speedy vehicle propelled by the wind force generated by a fan attached to a small motor, which is in turn powered by two AA batteries housed in a holder secured to the car. The kit constitutes an excellent introduction to mechanical and electrical concepts for young learners, presenting a relatively short task rendered challenging mostly by virtue of the size of the building materials. Builders will develop their fine motor skills, learning the basics of how vehicles work, garnering confidence and self-reliance as they construct a fun toy with guidance from an instruction sheet detailed with step-by-step images and directions. And unlike other kits, soldering is optional; it yields a more secure connection from battery holder to switch, but soldering is in no way necessary for ensuring the functioning of the vehicle. In fact, even the switch itself is optional; the battery holder can be attached directly to the motor if you prefer. Makes a fun and unique stocking stuffer, and can be used as the basis for a wide variety of science fair projects. Once the car is built, just flip the switch and watch as the car accelerates forward on force of wind alone! Make it a family project and have your cars race!
