We ship in custom fit quail foam shippers for the best protection available for safe travels which is part of the cost of shipping.
- 48 (+ Extras) Freshly Laid Jumbo Cotrunix Quail hatching eggs assortment: We have a mix of colors including all Jumbo in size: Pearl, Golden Manchurian and Italian, Texas A&M XXL White, Tibetin and Tibetin Tuxedo, Pharaoh, Sparkly Collection, Falb fee, Egyptian, Egyptian Fee, Pansy and Pansy Fee, we are also starting to add in Range, Silver, Andalusian, Autumn Amber and Tuxedo Pharaoh which may be included in your order. This listing is for a mix of those colors, we are not selling custom requests at this time.
- Great for Beginners: Coturnix quail are easy to raise and make great pets for beginners or experienced poultry farmers. They are small and don't require a lot of space, making them ideal for small homes or apartments.
- Fast-Growing: Jumbo Coturnix quail mature quickly and begin laying eggs at around 6-8 weeks of age. They can lay around 300 eggs per year. Easy to Care For: Coturnix quail are hardy birds that require minimal care and space, they convert feed to eggs efficiently, and begin to lay eggs as early as 6 weeks of age. Coturnix quail eggs are smaller than chicken eggs but are considered a delicacy in many parts of the world. Quail eggs are a healthy and less allergenic alternative to chicken eggs and they are higher in B12, Iron and protein.
- We regularly check fertility rates and frequently incubate our own eggs for a way to be self sustainable, we enjoy quail for meat and eggs for our family and also to make sure you are getting high quality, healthy and fertile hatching eggs.
- All USPS Priority Mail Is Insured! Please note if you received a package that is noticeably damaged with any cracked eggs please take photos before opening and throughout the entire process. You will need to file a claim with USPS online or in person at the post office where you will need to save your shipping box, packaging, all cracked eggs to bring to the post office or file a claim online. We ship in foam so this hopefully is not the case but you are protected if it does.
- Please know that if the package was damaged during shipping including being dropped that could scramble the eggs which would cause them to not be hatchable so please report any damage to the post office. Please know that especially with shipped eggs, lack of development does NOT equal infertility. Please do not purchase if you do not understand the risk of buying shipped eggs, you could have any from a 0-100% hatch rate. The eggs that leave our farm are fertile, what happens after they leave here is unpredictable.
- Hatching eggs are best incubated within 10 days, if your package is late please file a claim with the post office, they carry insurance on priority mail. Please do not send eggs back or ask for a refund as we can not control the post office. Because of these factors please understand and agree before purchasing, if you do not agree please do not purchase, we thank you for understanding.
