In a relatively short time, Ohioan Joe Mullins has established himself and his group as one of the leaders of todays crop of traditional Bluegrass bands. But what may seem like a short time is really more like a lifetime of involvement with the music: the son of a noted fiddler, promoter, and Disc Jockey Paul Mullins, Joe has extended the familys extremely successful track record, adding ownership of several radio stations to the highlights of a unique career.
As is usual on his albums, Mullins has brought together another collection of excellent songs, most of which are new to the Bluegrass world. Among these is a poignant patriotic song, The Last Parade, that is likely to garner significant air play and attention.
