This album is a true highlight of Khatia's recording career thus far, she reunites with Paavo Järvi for her first orchestral recording in four years. Rachmaninoff 2 and 3 - rarely combined - in one album, showcase two blockbuster concertos of the late-romantic repertoire. The 2nd has been featured in many famous movies such as Billy Wilder's The Seven Year Itch (1955) and Clint Eastwood's film Hereafter (2010). The 3rd was prominently featured in Shine (1996) with David Helfgott. Khatia and Järvi recorded the album with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at Rudolfinum, Dvorak Hall, Prague.
