Two Places At The Same Time (bonus Tracks Edition)
On the first Ray Parker, Jr. helmed project headlined as Ray Parker, Jr. & Raydio, 1980's Two Places At The Same Time, the band continued their brand of funk, serious dance grooves, and sensual ballads. Originally released on the now defunct Arista Records imprint, the album contained two singles that fared well on various charts. The album's title track peaked at No. 30 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart, No. 6 on Billboard's Top R&B Singles chart, as well as peaking at No. 34 on the UK Singles chart. The second single, the funky For Those That Like to Groove, peaked at No. 14 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart. The album itself peaked at No. 33 on Billboard's 200 Pop Album chart. The Detroit, Michigan native, and multi-instrumentalist wrote all of the songs with the exception of one tune that was co-written with jazz legend Herbie Hancock, the sexy Tonight's The Night. Includes original album remastered from the original master tape and 1 bonus track. Limited edition of 2,000.
