Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the R&B singer, songwriter and producer. This reissue of the two albums represents the first CD release of Sex And The Single Man since the now out-of-print Japanese limited edition in 2009 and includes notes by renowned US writer Kevin Goins with quotes from Ray himself. In the wake of the success of the group Raydio (which he co-founded in 1977), Ray Parker Jr.(who started his professional career as a teen prodigy on sessions in Detroit for Motown and Invictus/Hot Wax before working with the likes of Stevie Wonder and Barry White and writing the hit, 'You Got The Love' for the group Rufus) began his solo career in 1982 with the best-selling Arista album The Other Woman. The follow-up set, Woman Out Of Control reached #45 on Billboard s top 200 albums listing and #18 on the R&B charts, spurred on by the success of the hit single, 'I Still Can't Get Over Loving You', (US #12 on both pop and R&B charts). In addition to writing and producing the entire album, Ray played bass, drums, guitar, piano and synthesizer; other musicians included Motown alumni Edddie Bongo Brown and Jack Ashford.
