A SHORT STORY. Lifelong friends, two women living on the English countryside face a paranormal dilemma. In the midst of chaos, Mildred Henry's closely guarded secret is about to surface. She hopes her longtime friend will understand the deep threads of desperation that can drive a woman to do the unthinkable, otherwise, she may spend the rest of her life in regret.

Mildred Henry has enjoyed a quiet life since her husband passed away. She generally spends her time tending to her gardens and socializing with her canasta club. It all seems so surreal, except for those times when it's a challenge to get her so-called 'psychic' friend, Eleanor DeBeer, to go home before she's drained the last bottle of brandy.
When something of a despicable nature blows into Mildred's cottage, Eleanor and Mildred are flustered, but determined to understand the meaning of the paranormal event.
Someone has been keeping a terrible secret and perplexities such as these have a way of coming back to haunt when it's least expected.
With the horrific secret exposed, the two women conspire to lighten life's burdens.
