Eddie Maddux struggled for the past three years to get his architectural firm, Maddux & Associates, established, often working fifteen and sixteen hour days. Finally his hard work is beginning to show results. His company now has several buildings under construction in the Atlanta, Georgia area, with great approval and positive reviews. But at what cost? He had neglected Brittany, his wife of seven years, both emotionally and sexually. They haven’t made love in six months and she is frustrated to say the least. While shopping, she picks up a brochure about an island resort that says it is where all your sexual desires are satisfied. Intrigued, she takes it home with her.
Eddie promises Brittany he will be home early so they can have dinner and spend time together. The tension between them comes to a head when, instead, he comes home late after spending time with a female client. They have a fierce fight which leads to a rough sexual encounter, ending with a crude demand for her to prepare dinner for him. Insulted and humiliated, she storms off.
The next day while Eddie is at work, she leaves for a trip to the Caribbean Island, Paradise Island Resorts. The resort brochure promises to fulfill all her dreams, wants, and desires—she looks forward to finding out if that is true. When she arrives, she is upset to learn her luggage is lost, but is happy to befriend another woman who has visited the resort previously and knows her way around.
Brittany’s adventures at the resort will continue over several future episodes.
