Being included in the Bride is a great honor, an honor reserved for a remnant portion of the Body of Christ. This truth can be seen as early as the book of Genesis. Adamâ€™s bride was formed from a remnant portion of his body, an event that serves as a type and shadow of a later Bride to be formed for the One whom the apostle Paul calls â€œthe last Adam,â€ even Christ.
