We Knew They were Coming: The Darkness is coming

Book 6 continues the tale of humans realizing we aren't alone in the universe and most of the other intelligent races are not peaceful. The Hunter's best, Higuard was thrown thousands of years into the past. He didn't know it, but he had landed on the Old One's planet, his descendants are the very people he's sworn to kill.
The Mela is one of the Universe's central races, their home world is the capital of the universe, where the Universel Council meets.
The universe was rocked when their worst nightmare returned, ages ago they fought the darkness to a draw. The universe poured ships into the meat grinder battle with the darkness until there weren't any ships left to pour. The battle cost them most of their ships; the darkness retreated to their home, one unknown to this universe.
Their sensors discovered a darkness' probe had entered their universe, that meant the forces of evil wouldn't be far behind. None of the races on the Council were true warriors, they needed someone to lead the combined fleet to battle the darkness, they chose the only warrior they knew, a human, Admiral Bright from Earth to lead them against the darkness.
The Admiral discovered he had a monumental task, one he wasn't sure anyone could manage. The Council fought him at every step. His time is running out before the battle starts, the battle for the life or death of the universe.
